What is a pint
A pint is a measurement of volume in both the imperial and US customary systems of measurement that is equal to ⅛ gallon. Some everyday examples of things measured in pints include beer, sour cream, ice cream, berries, and more. In either system of measurement, the definition of the pint is based on the gallon. Since both systems of measurement have different definitions of the gallon, the actual value for the volume of a pint differs in each system.
